Building parts collapse in Billigheim - High property damage

Billigheim-Sulzbach ( Neckar-Odenwald district): In the early evening of Tuesday, a part of a building complex collapsed in Sulzbach in the main street around 18:00. About a third of the barn there collapsed. The debris field also extended to the adjacent properties. No information can be given on the cause of the collapse at present. According to initial estimates, property damage amounted to approximately 150,000 euros. The occupants of the residential wing were unharmed. The main road is closed until further notice. A detour has been set up. Safety measures by the fire department and the THW are currently being carried out. A structural engineer has been called in. In addition, the emergency physician and rescue service as well as the police were on duty. The Mosbach police department has taken up further investigations.
