The Polestar 3 has received a five-star rating in the latest round of testing by the independent testing agency Euro NCAP. In a series of vehicle tests in four categories - adults, children, vulnerable road users, and safety assistance systems - the Polestar 3 received five stars in all categories and an overall rating of 87 percent. The European New Car Assessment Program has been certifying the results of vehicle safety tests since 1997 and awards five stars - the highest possible rating - only to vehicles that demonstrate overall excellent performance in crash protection and are equipped with state-of-the-art accident prevention technology. In the child protection assessment, the Polestar 3 proved to be particularly outstanding, scoring 93 percent in this category - the highest score of all passenger cars tested by Euro NCAP in the last nine years. Building on the five-star overall rating already received by the Polestar 2 in 2021, the Polestar 3 is the second vehicle in the current model range to be tested by Euro NCAP and awarded the highest distinction.
