GP protest: many surgeries will remain closed between Christmas and New Year

Many GP and specialist surgeries throughout northern Germany will remain closed over the coming days. Several associations have called for this, including the Virchowbund. The doctors want to demonstrate against the health policy of the federal government. Anyone wishing to pick up a prescription should find out in advance whether their own practice is taking part in the protest.
