Plan on hosting an Oscar party? First, put together your VIP guest list and follow these tips to make it a night to remember: Get ready for the red carpet. Inform your guests that the theme will be classic Hollywood or extravagant fashion. Print out a list of this year's Oscar nominees for some categories to distribute to your guests, and cut out the names to be randomly selected. When the winners are announced, the person with the name of the respective star wins. You could even hand out golden statues. Of course, you'll need a drink to celebrate your win! Enjoy a cocktail reminiscent of a nominated film at your own awards ceremony. J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist whose life we follow in Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer," had a signature drink: a martini. Take a chilled martini glass, dip the rim in honey and lime juice, add four ounces of gin and a splash of vermouth. And now, for Greta Gerwig's blockbuster "Barbie": Why not try a pink and fabulous cocktail to celebrate Barbiemania? You'll need: two ounces of vodka, one ounce of peach schnapps, two ounces of cranberry juice, one ounce of lime juice, and one ounce of syrup. Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. If you like, you can add edible glitter or garnish the glass with cotton candy. Leonard Bernstein was known to enjoy a Rob Roy cocktail - the perfect melodic brew to cheer on the "Maestro" at the Oscars. For a Rob Roy, you'll need two ounces of Scotch, one ounce of sweet vermouth, and two dashes of bitters. What drink would Bella Baxter (Emma Stone) from Poor Things choose at the Oscars? A martini seems fitting here. As before, you'll need four ounces of gin and a splash of vermouth, but you can skip the honey and lime rim to make it as sharp as Bella tastes.

British wildlife photographer Paul Goldstein has selected his best pictures of 2020. His images would normally include pictures from all around the world, but for 2020 it is a mix of UK & abroad. He explains: “2020 has been a challenge for me like it has for millions. Travel, wildlife and safaris have all been compromised by the virus but it has taught me that there is plenty of beauty in the natural world on our doorstep."
Every morning, students at Suanlumpinee School in Bangkok gather beneath a coloured flag, signifying the day's air quality. With red indicating the worst, yellow the second worst, and blue the best, pupils squeeze into the "clean" classroom - one of only four air-conditioned rooms equipped with air purifiers and filtration systems. Thailand consistently records alarming levels of air pollution, with its cities ranking among the world's most polluted for numerous days last year. Unfortunately, children bear the brunt of this crisis, facing heightened risks of respiratory damage in the long run.
