Pig transporter with 600 animals crashed on the A7

A traffic accident caused chaos around the Bordesholm triangle on Wednesday. At around 5:30 a.m., a truck loaded with 600 pigs ran off the road on the A7 and overturned. The driver and the passenger were injured. A vet was called to take care of the animals. A large number were killed or seriously injured in the accident. The A7 and the A215 to the south were temporarily completely closed for the salvage work. They should only be fully open to traffic again in the evening
