Protests in Israel: Tens of thousands demand new elections and hostage deal

Tens of thousands have been demonstrating in Israel since the weekend against Netanyahu's government and for an agreement with Hamas on the release of the kidnapped hostages. These were the largest protests since the beginning of the offensive in the Gaza Strip in October. There were also protests from the right against unpopular decisions by the Israeli Prime Minister.
