Customs at Frankfurt Airport randomly check travelers entering Germany. However, not all travelers are familiar with customs regulations - or deliberately do not comply. In addition to goods exceeding the duty-free allowance, protected animals, corals, and counterfeit products are regularly confiscated. Customs inspects, stops smugglers, and ensures compliance with regulations.
