Cher accused of hiring 4 men to kidnap son

Cher has been accused of hiring four men to kidnap her son Elijah Blue Allman from a New York hotel room, according to court documents. The allegations were made by Allman's wife Marie Angela King in divorce papers filed in December 2022. King said the incident occurred when she and Allman, 47, were staying at a New York City hotel after Cher asked them to leave her home. "Four people came into our hotel room and took (Allman) out of our room. One of the four told me they were hired by his mother. I don't know how my husband is or where he is and I was told not to see or speak to him," King wrote. She believes Allman is "locked up in a treatment facility" and "does not have access to his phone." In 2014, Allman admitted to using drugs since the age of 11 and struggling with his addiction, but claimed to have been sober since 2008.
