Scooter rider seriously injured after fall in Heidelberg

Heidelberg: Around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, a scooter rider, coming from Leimen, was riding on the street Judenchausee, where she lost control of the two-wheeler near the transformer station and fell. The scooter then slid against the guardrails, the driver suffered several injuries. No other road users were involved in the accident. The injured woman, who was responsive, was taken to a hospital by ambulance for further treatment. During the accident investigation, the landing of the helicopter and the recovery of the totally damaged scooter, the road section was completely closed. The closure was lifted.
