When Slovakia's citizens cast their votes in the early parliamentary election, they will also decide on their country's future foreign policy. Polls predict a close race between the populist Smer-SD party of ex-government leader Robert Fico, who is close to the Kremlin, and the liberal Progressive Slovakia party of EU Vice-President Michal Simecka.
