The start to the second half of the season has been successful for all second division clubs in the north. FC St. Pauli finally scored another away win against Nuremberg. The fans had to wait for this since October. Holstein Kiel secured its place in mid-table with a win against Fürth. And HSV defeated Eintracht Braunschweig 4-2, a win that will help Hamburg's promotion ambitions.
