Blue light deployment late Friday night in the Fulda district of Niesig. Already from afar, the signal lights of the East Hessian police could be seen in the forest near the "Gerloser Häuschen". The task forces arrived with a large contingent and closed the access road to the barbecue area. But some motorists fled along a dirt road in the direction of Aschenberg. All ended up in a dead end, because the patrols reacted quickly and closed the roads without further ado. The police meticulously recorded the data of the vehicles and the personal details of all occupants and issued expulsions. Numerous had met in the forest at the "Gerloser Häuschen" beforehand mainly young adults despite valid Corona contact restrictions to celebrate together on "Carfreitag". After taking personal data, the illegal party was broken up by the officers. Instead of driving home, however, the party-goers continued their way with about 50 vehicles through downtown Fulda. There, the police was already waiting and closed the Bardostraße at the height of Löhertor / RhönEnergie for a short time. Further stations of the scene were on the parking lot of the SB Union in Petersberg, the Shell gas station in the Kreuzbergstraße in Fulda, the Tegut parking lot near Dipperz and later the parking lot of a food market in Hosenfeld. The scene had organized itself via social networks, as insiders reported to the OSTHESSEN|NEWS editorial office. On the heels of the unreasonable ones hung the police, which was always anxious with its operational measures to dissolve the Korso as fast as possible, not to become the plaything of the scene and not to organize a Treibjagd. This succeeded well and shortly after midnight the figurative "cat and mouse game" was over. (mr/cps) +++
