Car crashes into turning tractor in Wiesloch - three people injured

Wiesloch/Rhein-Neckar-Kreis (ots) A traffic accident occurred on Thursday around 8 p.m. on Ravensburgstraße in the district of Schatthausen. A 34-year-old Skoda driver was driving in the direction of Mauer, when he wanted to overtake a tractor in front of him shortly before leaving the village, near the moated castle. However, during the overtaking process, the tractor was about to turn left, resulting in a collision. The tractor tipped over to the side and the airbags of the Skoda were triggered. The driver and both occupants of the tractor were slightly injured in the accident. The latter were taken to a hospital by ambulance. The Ravensburgerstraße was fully closed for several hours. The damage to property amounts to over 30,000 euros. The exact cause of the accident is currently still being investigated.
