On Friday afternoon, a long Shabbat plaque was erected on Marienplatz in Munich in memory of the Hamas hostages. There were more than 240 place settings on the tables - each for a kidnapped person. This was explained by Yehoshua Chmiel, spokesman for the campaign and Vice President of the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria.
