Joko & Klaas' million-dollar suitcase found: Treasure hunt for a good cause
In a spectacular campaign, presenters Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf hid a suitcase filled with one million euros in Germany. After a week of intensive searching, the suitcase was found by a lucky treasure hunter, Tobias, and opened live on TV. The presenters launched the campaign as part of the 15 minutes of airtime they had won on "Joko & Klaas gegen ProSieben". The treasure hunt was not only for entertainment, but also for a good cause. Together with the DKMS, Joko and Klaas called on people to register as stem cell donors. More than 37,000 people responded to this call, well above the target of 10,000, and thus supported the campaign for the fight against blood cancer.
