Following the fire accident at a carnival parade in Kehl, Baden-Württemberg, which left seven people injured, Mayor Wolfram Britz has praised the behavior of participants. "The members of the carnival group reacted in a very level-headed manner and thus probably prevented even worse," the non-party local politician told dpa. According to police reports on Sunday, one man was seriously injured in the fire on a carnival float and six other people suffered injuries.
