The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is a classic three-box sedan. Special features of the front are the independent hood with its chromed fin and the Mercedes-Maybach radiator grille. Its high recognition value consists of the vertical, three-dimensional decorative bars. The MAYBACH word mark is elegantly integrated into the chrome frame of the grill. The rear doors are wider than on the model brothers, and there is also a fixed triangular window in the C-pillar. A Maybach brand logo on the C-pillar emphasizes the exclusivity. On request, the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class can be fitted with electrically driven comfort doors at the rear. The special appearance of the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class also includes a two-tone paint finish with a separating line, which is applied by hand in accordance with the highest quality criteria. It is an optional extra, as is the DIGITAL LIGHT headlamp technology. This enables new functions, such as the projection of auxiliary markings or warning symbols onto the road. In each headlamp, DIGITAL LIGHT has a light module with three extremely powerful LEDs whose light is refracted and directed by 1.3 million micro mirrors.
