Blood donations in the north are declining further and the situation is slowly becoming critical. There is a shortage of almost half of the weekly over 1,000 blood donations needed at the UKSH. The supply of blood groups 0 negative and A positive is particularly tight.
Innovative and full of good ideas: The international trade fair REHACARE 2019, which ended after four days at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center. 751 exhibitors from 43 countries informed 38,600 visitors about aids that make life easier for people with disabilities, in need of special care and senior citizens. Over 2,100 exhibitors from 63 countries presented their innovations in the field of occupational safety and health in Düsseldorf. On the final day of the event, Messe Düsseldorf gives a positive summary and is satisfied with the results.
