VfB Stuttgart dismisses coach Matarazzo

It had been indicated, now it is official: VfB Stuttgart has relieved Pellegrino Matarazzo of his duties with immediate effect. The 44-year-old had joined the Swabians as head coach in December 2019 - the 0:1 against Union Berlin at the weekend was his 100th and last competitive match for the traditional club. According to media reports, Adi Hütter and Sebastian Hoeneß are being traded as successors.
