Letter with white powder: All-clear after large-scale operation at Oldenburg district court

A letter with an unknown white powder caused a large-scale operation at Oldenburg district court (Schleswig-Holstein) on Friday morning. According to an enclosed threatening message, the powder was supposed to be an anthrax agent. The building was evacuated as a result. A special unit examined the substance on site and gave the all-clear: It was merely a mixture of flour and baking powder. There are no clues as yet as to the sender. The area around the district court was closed until late afternoon.
