Love goes through the stomach: Lost the wedding ring in the cow's rumen

Probably while feeding with oat silage, a young cow stripped the wedding ring from the finger of her farmer Johannes Brandhuber from Simbach near Landau (Landkreis Dingolfing-Landau) with her rough tongue and hungrily swallowed it with the silage. In any case, the still quite young married 32-year-old was missing the ring on that Sunday morning in November after the stable work. About four months later, the call came from the butcher Josef Steinleitner in Pleinting (Landkreis Passau): An employee found the ring in his cow's stomach.
