Queen Camilla mourns the loss of her "much-loved companion" Beth, who had to be put to sleep for health reasons.  Camilla adopted Beth from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, and Buckingham Palace praised her as a dog who "brought her so much joy". The Palace paid tribute to Beth on Instagram, captioning the post with the words: "A sad farewell to Beth, the Queen's beloved companion from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home." Beth often accompanied Camilla at public events, symbolizing her commitment to animal welfare and pet adoption. Beth and Camilla's other rescue dog, Bluebell, adorned the Queen's coronation robe as gold embroidery. The Queen adopted Beth in 2011 as a three-month-old puppy and Bluebell in 2012 when she was found sick and alone in a London park.
