Nick Carter accused of sexual coercion by a fourth woman

The Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter faces a fourth lawsuit for sexual coercion, this time from a woman named Laura Penly, who claims he sexually coerced her on two different occasions. The civil suit alleges that Carter and Penly had a relationship in 2005, where she traveled to Los Angeles to visit him. She was 19 at the time, and he was 25 years old. Penly says she initially had consensual sex with Carter on three occasions but claims he later raped her during a visit after she rejected further intimacies. Penly also claims that Carter transmitted several sexually transmitted diseases, leading to a cervical cancer diagnosis and ongoing emotional and physical trauma.
