The new RS Q8 performance can now boast the title of the fastest SUV on the Nürburgring Nordschleife at market launch. Racing and development driver Frank Stippler completed the 20.832-kilometer track in the Eifel in just 7:36.698 minutes. That's more than two seconds faster than the previous fastest vehicle in the SUV, off-road, van, and pickup class, and almost six seconds faster than the RS Q8 before the product upgrade. The power increase to 471 kW (640 hp) and 850 Nm of torque, as well as the outstanding chassis components consisting of the adaptive air suspension sport with regulated damping and RS-specific tuning, the electromechanical active roll stabilization (eAWS), the all-wheel steering, and the quattro sport differential, were crucial for the lap time.

Introducing the iconic Mach 1 moniker to the region for the first time, the limited-edition model also delivers race-derived styling, specification and detailing for performance car fans.
The Tiguan was given an update back in autumn 2020 and now it is the turn of the long-wheelbase version: revised design, new control and assist systems, new premium features such as interactive IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights and touch panels to control the standard automatic air conditioner take the Tiguan Allspace to the next level. Currently, more than every second Tiguan (55 percent) that rolls off the production line worldwide has a long wheelbase. The XL version of the Tiguan Allspace can, upon request, be fitted to become an SUV with seven seats or boast 1,920 litres of storage space. Pre-sales start in the next few weeks. In Germany, it is available in the new specification packages Life, Elegance and R-Line.
