The Spanish midfielder Rodri from Manchester City has won the Ballon D'Or 2024 as Real Madrid boycotted the event after Vinicius Jr. missed out on the award. Vinicius, who was a clear favorite for the award, and Madrid decided not to attend the event after learning that the Brazilian did not finish first in the voting.
